The Irvington porch and pavilion redesigned a backyard living space to include an attached porch, freestanding pavilion and adjacent landscape for a historic home in one of Portland’s iconic neighborhoods.
Both the porch and pavilion were designed to provide year-round outdoor living space in addition to shade protection for interior environments during the warm summer months.
The proposed garden layout took advantage of existing, mature plants while establishing drought tolerant and low maintenance varieties in expanded planting spaces.
